Use Case: Claims Predictive Models feature – Transparency Notice and Disclaimer
This notice, incorporated by reference as a Supplemental Material under the agreement(s) that govern the relationship between you (“you” or “your”) and Riskonnect (“us”, “we”, or “our”, and such an agreement, the “Agreement”), details how the “Claims Predictive Models” tool operates using advanced machine learning to enhance claims management. The Claims Predictive Models refer to the sophisticated algorithms developed to predict key metrics such as claim duration, reserve requirements, and litigation probability, providing actionable insights to support your claims processes.
Purpose and Functionality
Our Claims Predictive Models tool empowers you to predict key metrics such as claim duration, reserve requirements, and litigation probability. By opting in for the Predict feature, you gain access to one or more sophisticated models. Data from each claim record is securely transmitted to our model API on Microsoft Azure via a Mulesoft gateway. The model processes this information to infer outcomes, which are then returned and seamlessly integrated into your user interface on Riskonnect, enhancing informed decision-making. Currently, we store select components of these model predictions, and pending financial and legal endorsement, we aim to comprehensively store detailed API request/response pairs in Azure as a data lake to bolster data analysis and retention capabilities.
