Riskonnect 2019.2 introduces enhanced safety audit feature and new capabilities for non-clinical rounding and long-term care event reporting
ATLANTA – July 31, 2019 — Riskonnect, the leading integrated risk management software solution provider, today announces the latest version of its platform Riskonnect 2019.2. The release delivers new, robust features for the healthcare and health and safety markets, including support for non-clinical rounding, long-term care event reporting and safety audits.
The enhancements are designed to help risk professionals in the healthcare and health & safety fields get a complete view of their organization’s risk profile. By integrating traditionally isolated activities and data, users of the platform can quickly and proactively identify and address safety and compliance risks across the organization.
“Enterprise-wide visibility is absolutely critical for protecting employee and patient safety and ensuring quality of care. Obtaining this level of transparency is increasingly more difficult today with rapid consolidation within the healthcare market,” said Andrea Brody, chief marketing officer of Riskonnect. “These investments in the Riskonnect platform are designed to help risk managers overcome siloes and drive better patient outcomes by capturing and analyzing health and safety data across all facilities and departments.”
Riskonnect 2019.2 includes the following new features that can be accessed through mobile or the web, improving overall efficiency by allowing tasks to be performed in the field or at a desk:
- A configurable solution that enables risk managers to easily deploy and analyze rounds completed by staff and integrate that data with other organizational insights. The result is a clear view of risk relationships across the enterprise, which leads to more informed decisions. The solution captures all non-clinical rounding efforts from accreditation survey prep and service recovery to infection control standards and environment of care.
- An intuitive event reporting tool specific to the long-term care market that improves the accuracy of voluntary reporting, including near misses and unsafe conditions. The tool also streamlines communication with staff and compliance and safety teams. Risk managers can handle resident, caregiver and visitor safety data, feedback and claims much more effectively and in less time.
- An enhanced safety audit feature that improves visibility into safety hazards and proactively identifies potential and recurring issues to help risk managers take preventative actions that significantly reduce the cost of non-compliance. The tool eliminates the need for paper-based audits and digitally tracks and monitors every step of the process to ensure compliance, gauge progress and evaluate results against past audit scores.
Riskonnect’s 2019.2 release also includes several enhancements to the RMIS, ERM and GRC platform. To learn more about the latest features, please schedule a demo.
