Riskonnect, the leader in integrated risk management solutions, today announced Madhu Kota has joined the company as its chief technology officer.

Kota brings more than 25 years of technology experience in a variety of specialty areas such as risk management applications, fintech, health technology, and asset and work management.

In his most recent role, Kota was the CIO of BioIQ, where he managed all aspects of information technology, including IT infrastructure, software development, architecture, and technology governance. Before BioIQ, he was a vice president at Fiserv, where he led strategic initiatives in payments technology modernization, product development, and agile transformation.

Kota’s hiring comes during a successful expansion period for Riskonnect, following their acquisition of Marsh ClearSight in Q4 of 2018.

“Digital transformation is rapidly changing the way businesses leverage technology to enhance the customer experience and drive results,” said Jim Wetekamp, Riskonnect’s CEO. “Madhu’s experience in technical transformation and solution architecture will be critical in driving Riskonnect’s future platform strategy that extends existing technology capabilities, integrates an ecosystem of solutions and expands new capabilities through a common user experience.”
