A: Riskonnect has prepared a recommended script for customers to utilize for testing their applications in the new environment. It contains paths for basic and advanced testing. Download our Test Script documentation and explore the parts of the application that you use daily.

Q: My organization uses Shared Devices access the system. What actions do we need to take?2020-06-23T13:21:52-04:00

A: Some customers utilize a single device for system access by many users. This device is identified by its IP address and that address is added to your ClearSight system as an authorized device. This is also referred to as a Kiosk device. Your IT team will need to modify your SSO login for the Kiosk device to use the new addresses

Q: My organization uses the ClearSight Kiosk (IP authenticated device) to access the system. What actions do we need to take?2020-06-23T13:23:13-04:00

A: Login URLs for the application will not redirect to the new environment. To prevent linking to a non-existing page, update your browser to use the new login URL.

Q: We use and HL7 interface to post clinical data to the Clearsight application.2020-06-23T13:23:21-04:00

A: HL7 is a messaging standard that enables your clinical applications to exchange data with your ClearSight software. If you utilize an HL7 interface, Riskonnect will send you a prefilled VPN form to begin the continuity planning process. Your IT team will need to change the endpoint for the HL7 VPN. Riskonnect recommends that you keep the same ports. We will review your responses in the VPN form to determine if any other modifications need to made to the current process.

Prior to the UAT testing window, your Customer Success team will schedule a meeting with ASP IT department meet with ASP to coordinate the changes if necessary. During UAT testing, we will be able to confirm that the networks are connected and that messages are being exchanged.

Q: What do I do if I encounter any errors while testing our webservices?2020-06-23T13:23:27-04:00

A: Please record the error and all relevant information e.g. date and time when the request was made, the data contained in the message, the SOAP request payload and contact your Customer Success team. They will analyze and provide you more information on the error and next steps.

A: You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of the date when Riskonnect will open our UAT environment for testing. You may make the necessary changes to test the web services at the new endpoints once the UAT environment is exposed.

A: No, there is no change in the response. It will remain the same.

A: No. WSDL for the webservices is not changing. You should not need to update the WSDL or namespaces for the webservices.

A: Most clients will not need to make any changes at all. Your Customer Success team has an inventory of actionable configuration for all customers and will be coordinating with you before and during the testing windows to help you prepare for the final cutover.

A: Yes. Clients will need to change their processes for file extraction or delivery if the current process utilizes a Riskonnect hosted site. If the exchange happens on a customer hosted site, no changes are necessary. Refer to this technical reference guide for details:

A: You should inform your IT department of the upcoming change so that they can prepare to make address changes within the identity management application that you use. Your Riskonnect team will reach out to coordinate during the UAT phase of the project and much of the work can be done in advance of the final cutover. The Riskonnect team will also make any configuration changes needed in our software and be available to help you troubleshoot or test after the final cutover date.

A: All Riskonnect ClearSight browser based applications will be moved to a new URL. This includes Enterprise, Business Objects and Data Discoverer. A: If you’re replying to an existing email after the cutover date that you are expecting to go into our system, please make sure the email domain is correct. You will need to update the domain/end of the email address from stars-net.com to riskonnectclearsight.net. No actions are required to reply to system emails generated after the cutover date.

A: No changes will be made to the https://my.riskonnectclearsight.com URL used for the ClearSight Portal.

However, we recommend that you ensure that your organization has whitelisted the new Enterprise and ClearSight URLs to ensure uninterrupted access to the underlying applications. Refer to this technical reference guide for details:

A: Your same user id and password will continue to work.

Q: What will happen to my browser bookmarks?2020-06-23T13:26:30-04:00

A: URLs for the application will not redirect to the new environment. To prevent linking to a non-existing page, delete old bookmarks and set up new application bookmarks in your browser as needed.

Q: What will happen to my login page?2020-06-23T13:26:35-04:00

A: The login page will move to the new URL however there will be no changes to the actual login screen. From time to time, Riskonnect may post project updates and links to additional information on your login page.
