Our Management Team
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Bob is a leading authority on risk management technology solutions. He co-founded Riskonnect in July 2007 to develop and market comprehensive applications addressing strategic and traditional insurable risk management. Morrell started programming professionally as a 15-year-old high school student who had to take the school bus to a job where he was the first employee without a college degree. His early taste for technology along with a lifelong penchant for programming led Morrell to co-found his first risk management software firm, Risk Laboratories, while a sophomore at Georgia Tech. That firm has since been divested and is now part of No. 2 broker Aon Corporation.
Morrell was named the winner of Risk & Insurance magazine’s 2008 Risk Innovators Award for the utility sector. Riskonnect also won the Salesforce.com 2008 Appy Award for the Force.com Breakthrough App of the Year. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.
President and Chief Operating Officer
Jim Foster joined Riskonnect in 2016, bringing with him more than 30 years of progressive experience and success in the technology sector. Foster has successfully led organizations in the enterprise, SMB, SOHO, and consumer markets. His highly diverse background includes technology, product development, sales, marketing and general management. He has 25 years of P&L responsibility, achieving double-digit revenue growth with consistent positive operating margins and has launched multiple highly successful product lines with operational management of companies or divisions from 20 to 3,000 employees. Foster was recognized as the 2013 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Philadelphia Region and currently serves as member of the Advisory Board for both Crown & Caliber and Hyde Park Capital.
Co-founder and Vice President, Research
Antonio Dabraio co-founded Riskonnect in July 2007. In this role, Dabraio is responsible for all of Riskonnect’s technology, technical operations and security, including research efforts, software development, quality, and platform and applications security. He has extensive and diverse expertise in enterprise-class software development and project management. Prior to Riskonnect, Dabraio served as software development manager at Risk Laboratories, where he managed high-level projects and supervised a team of developers.
Dabraio received a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from Southern Polytechnic State University. His native language is Italian, and he is fluent in Spanish and English.
Vice President, Applications & Platform
Roger Dunkin is a worldwide leader in risk management technology solutions, with more than 20 years of experience serving global organizations and providing solutions that directly and positively affect the bottom line. In his role as Vice President, Applications and Platform, Dunkin is responsible for creating and launching innovative, scalable solutions to address challenges in the management of risk facing key global industries.
Prior to joining Riskonnect in January 2010, Dunkin served as Chief Operating Officer of Shelter Island Risk Services, a risk technology consultant firm, previously a division of Arthur J. Gallagher and Co. He is the author of Risk Management Reporting Best Practices Guide and Risk Management Data Quality Strategies. He earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Sciences from Berry College.
Chief Financial Officer
Patrick “Pat” Henn joined Riskonnect in September, 2013 as Chief Financial Officer. Henn has over 20 years experience providing financial leadership to organizations, both publicly and privately held, during periods of rapid growth and change. Henn has led disruptive technology companies through multiple growth stages and has the expertise to guide Riskonnect, from the financial perspective, in the best direction to service Riskonnect clients and remain the innovative leader in risk management technology.
Henn began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Young, LLP in their Palo Alto office in 1990. In 1998, he joined Manhattan Associates, Inc., a provider of supply chain software solutions, as Vice President, Controller. Henn held this position as the company completed an initial public offering and grew from $30 million to $250 million, expanded into eight international markets, and completed seven acquisitions. In 2005, Henn joined Indus International, a provider of service delivery management software solutions, as Chief Financial Officer. At Indus, Henn collaborated with the management team to align the organization’s strategies with its financial objectives, and eventually led the sale of the organization to a strategic private equity investor.
Henn joined Astadia, a SAAS solutions implementation provider, in 1998. As Chief Financial Officer he managed a $7 million investment, and was instrumental in developing strategic planning models for staffing and long term goals. As Chief Financial Officer at Starcite, a provider of SAAS solutions for managing corporate meetings and events, he improved the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance and accounting organization, including delivering enhanced analytics for better business decision making. Henn earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Vice President, North America Sales
Jim joins Riskonnect from Aon eSolutions, where he was a Regional Vice President from January 2010 to June 2011. Through this position, Haas headed a sales team that led the world in sales results—doubling sales for the nearest peer group—and earned him the Aon eSolutions leadership award for 2010.
Prior to this, Jim was a Territory Vice President for Aon since 1998. From 1993 to 1998, he was a claims supervisor and risk manager for Resource Dealer Group.
Along with his exceptional sales experience, Jim specializes in construction, retail and financial industry risks.
Vice President, Implementation Services
Stephen Maddex brings more than 25 years of enterprise level consulting experience for the Financial Services Property & Casualty industry, and a broad and deep experience within IT Service/Integration and Business Transformation within the P&C insurance value chain; creating efficient and innovative products, architectures, and custom solutions in a global service delivery environment. Prior to that, he spent 22 years at CSC honing his experience in technology solutions for insurance and risk management in various roles, insurance solution architect, program and account management for large business transformations projects, and business unit management responsible for the COGEN and Exceed insurance solutions divisions for enterprise carriers. Whilst at CSC Stephen was also responsible for risk management services, responsible for the RISKMASTER Business Unit Director, responsible for 200 employees and over 450 customers utilizing the CSC self insured and risk management solutions. Stephen’s last position at CSC was the Director of Business Intelligence for the P&C vertical (2010-2012) developing a new business unit to supply analytical capabilities to the carrier customers. After leaving CSC Maddex worked for two years at JBA International as VP of Financial Services, working with their European insurance customers.
Vice President, Client Services
Meredith is responsible for strategy and execution for all Riskonnect products. She leads a team of consultants and specialists who work with clients, industry experts and other Riskonnect teams to implement market leading solutions. The Implementation Team is responsible for detailed design, configuration, and project management. With more than 30 years of experience in the risk management and related industries, building and delivering technology to lower clients’ overall costs of risk, she is driven to continuously expand the functionality while maximizing consistency and quality within Riskonnect products.
Randall joined Riskonnect in 2009 after 27 years at Crawford & Company’s Risk Sciences Group. As director of Product Development and Support, she was responsible for a multi-million dollar annual budget for the RSG infrastructure, product design, development and support of the RSG Sigma Encore risk management information system, serving hundreds of client customers. She holds an MA in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Vice President, Strategic Marketing
Quin joins Riskonnect with 18+ years of Executive Sales Management and Leadership experience with 10 of those in the GRC Industry. He has been immersed in Governance, Risk, Compliance and Audit from companies such as MetricStream, Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, and Neohapsis to Supply Chain Management and BPO services for Sutherland Global Services and ModusLink.
His primary industry focus the past ten years has been in BFSI, Retail, Tech & Communications and Manufacturing. Quin will focus on driving Riskonnect’s GRC initiative. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Administration.
