Benefits of Riskonnect’s Cloud: Configurability

The Riskonnect platform and products boast the most flexibility offered in the risk management industry.  This flexibility not only includes the ability for Riskonnect services to adapt the product to meet unique customer needs, but also includes the ability for trained system administrators, and even end-users, to configure the application to their needs.  Below is a partial list of these capabilities:

• Configurable page layouts for data entry and viewing including custom sections, field positions, required fields, etc.  These layouts can vary from record type, coverage line, user group and user.
• Custom fields for data capture.  Existing core fields may be disabled or removed and new ones added, making for an entirely custom experience.
• Custom objects and relationships allowing you to capture a myriad of risk-related information including a variety of exposures and other data that may be entirely unique to your industry and organization.
• Custom formula fields allow data from a single record, or multiple related records, to be combined into formulas.  These may be configured directly on objects, or from within reports.
• Configurable workflow and approval processes allowing automation for your existing business workflow.  This goes far beyond simple required fields with easily configurable validation rules.  Approval processes allow records to move from one user to another requiring action at each step.  A common example is payment approvals.  All of this workflow is configurable by Riskonnect and by your system administrators using a graphical display of the process.
• Customizable views allowing you and your users to tailor how you look up information.  This is easily changed by dragging-and-dropping column layouts, filters and then specifying who else can see those views.
• Complete ad-hoc reporting allowing you and your users to report on any information you want to.  A variety of report formats are available.  You can start from scratch, or from an existing template.  All data is available including fields and objects unique to your Riskonnect system.
